SVP, Market Access Strategy
Sarah-Jane Barker is SVP Market Access Strategy at WG. Sarah-Jane provides strategic consultancy specialising in development and communication of product value with experience across EU, US and Global markets. In addition to Sarah-Jane’s consultancy role, she also sits on the executive management board for WG Consulting to inform the internal strategy for the business. She is based in the WG US office in New York City and focuses on business development and market access strategy for US and Global clients.
Sarah-Jane's experience across multiple markets and projects includes creation of tailored value propositions and communication tools, pricing and reimbursement research, strategic market access planning, advocacy and data interpretation programs for major congresses. Sarah-Jane has worked with an extensive range of clients across disease areas including; oncology, hematology, orphan diseases, immunology, oral health and cardiovascular. Sarah-Jane also participated in a secondment with the Medical Director of Hematology at a major European pharmaceutical company to support clinical trial access.
Sarah-Jane joined WG Consulting in 2006 further to achieving a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry from Nottingham University. During completion of both graduate and management consultancy programs at WG, Sarah-Jane joined the senior management team and transitioned to the US to open the New York office.
Sarah-Jane was recognized with a 2014 HBA rising star award and is based in the New York office.
