Junior Research Associate
Emma Giegerich is a Junior Research Associate for WG Group in the United States with a diverse academic background.
She graduated from Colgate University in 2014 with dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Molecular Biology and Peace and Conflict Studies. Her senior thesis examining the transformation of biological weaponry from a public health issue to a national security threat inspired her to pursue a public health degree.
In 2016, she graduated from New York University with a Master of Public Health degree with a concentration in Epidemiology. Prior to joining WG, Emma worked as a research scientist at NYU, studying and analyzing the epidemiology of the public health, economic and social consequences of natural, technical, and other disasters.
Since joining WG in 2016, Emma has supported projects in a wide range of disease areas including major depressive disorder and metastatic breast cancer, among others.
Emma is based in the New York office.
