Senior Clinical Payer Specialist
Alison has an Honours degree in Pharmacy (London) and an MSc in Clinical Pharmacy (Brighton). She is also a member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain.
She began her career in the NHS where she was a Medicines Information Pharmacist at The Royal Marsden Hospital with a special interest in haematological and paediatric cancers. Prior to specialising in oncology, Alison worked in a variety of hospital-based pharmacy roles encompassing more general medicine and also including an audit role.
In 2001, Alison began working in market access for WG across a wide range of therapeutic areas including respiratory medicine (COPD and CF), neurology, rheumatology, erectile dysfunction, cardiology, anti-microbials, diagnostics and many oncological indications.
Alison manages a UK team of clinical and health economic consultants who specialise in delivering bespoke strategic, written and modelling support to projects up to HTA level. Alison is an experienced chairperson/facilitator/trainer and is very comfortable leading discussions with key clinical and management leads across primary, secondary and tertiary care.
Since the opening of the WG US office, Alison has also been a strategic lead for US-office projects. On an on-going basis she facilitates the delivery of global projects by combing the skills of team members on both sides of the Atlantic for optimal outcomes.
Alison is based in the London office.
